About Me
I gained a curiosity for the inner workings of computers when I first played FIFA 06 in 2009 on Desktop.
This was in the ICT Laboratory of the University Primary School in Cape Coast, Ghana. Prior to that, I had been exposed to computers but did not really care that much for how they worked.
Fast forward, about 8 years later, I found myself at the University of Cape Coast, taking a BSc. Information Technology programme, from which I graduated with a Second Class Upper.
As part of my studies in UCC, I got the chance to do a semester at the Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, where I took courses in Database Design, Software Engineering, and Computer Forensics, to name a few.
Since graduating, I've been building applications and assisting with leadership of development teams. I've worked as a Software Engineer at DeepX by Saleup GmbH in Germany, developing applications serving 100+ active users and 20+ organizations, and currently work as a contract Software Engineer at AllPeep in Florida.
My experience spans from building browser extensions, architecting and building scalable web applications. I've also assisted in the leading of development teams, mentored junior developers, and established coding standards
I enjoy working on interesting and useful software, having delivered web applications. I've worked with Typescript/NextJS, Sveltekit, and various ORMs and architectural patterns like tRPC and MVVM.
My current stack is Typescript/NextJS, Sveltekit and Golang
I also like to read, and welcome any suggestions for reading material in my mail.
